Today we were here for the first time and were pleasantly surprised. You can try several dumpling dishes in self-service. We had the classic: roulade, red cabbage and of course Thuringian dumplings. The food was tasty and delicious. For dessert there was witch ice cream. Children can let off steam in the ball pit while their parents distribute coffee in the dumpling. After refreshments we went to the dumpling museum. Here we got an insight into the creation of the Heichelheim dumpling factory. The history of dumplings is well explained here for young and old alike. After visiting the museum, we went to the factory outlet where we stocked up on various delicacies. It was a nice trip. We'd love to come back.
Interesting plus good cuisine and a great shop
It is beautifully designed. The exhibitions are interesting and something for GDR THINGS LOVERS. The food was good, the price was around 10-15€. But the dumplings weren't really cooked through. They were like they had just been heated over steam, so they were a bit dry. Museum entry €5 per person. Have a nice company sale in the building. We were there for about an hour.
